Richard H. Layon
Richard H. Layon was born in Brawley, California, August 23, 1960. He completed undergraduate work at San Diego State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in History; thereafter, he attended Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon where he was awarded his Juris Doctorate degree in 1990. He was admitted to practice in California in 1991 and has represented clients in the Municipal, Superior and Appellate Courts of California, the U.S. District Courts of Southern and Central California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Membership: State Bar of California, San Diego County Bar Association, Bar Association of North San Diego County [BANSDC], California Public Defenders Associations, California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, Private Conflicts Counsel, Lawyer Referral Service for North San Diego County and the Vista Village Business Association
Service to the Community: Judge Pro Tempore of the Superior Court, Member of Board of Directors for the Bar Association of North San Diego County and the Lawyer Referral Service for North San Diego County, Editor of BANSDC's monthly magazine "North County Lawyer", past chair, BANSDC's criminal defense bar, Community Outreach Volunteer of the Superior Court, Vice President, Vista Village Business Association.
Laura E. Holck
Laura E. Holck was born in Santa Cruz, California, January 19, 1963. She completed undergraduate work at the University of California at Davis, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in European History; thereafter she attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law where she was awarded her Juris Doctorate degree. She was admitted to practice in California in 1992 and has represented clients in the Municipal, Superior and Appellate Courts of California and the U.S. District Court of Southern California.
